The second step in having your document verified as being legitimate is the legalization phase. After your document has been authenticated by DFAIT as required it must be presented for legalization at the respective countries embassy following a specific set of rules and procedures. Be assured that in addition to our authentication services we do facilitate the legalization of documents at all foreign embassies in Canada. Although we exercise every advantage in order to ensure the prompt and efficient processing times of our client’s requests for legalization they are dependant on the particular embassy, which does vary considerably between countries for various reasons. To receive the current approximate processing times for a particular embassy please contact us and we will provide the current embassy legalization fee, which is in addition to our fees, or any other strict embassy requirement that must be followed in order to process your document.

$125 for 1st document + $25 each additional document
Any other Embassy in Canada
$175 for 1st document + $25 each additional document
Please note that the above fees do not include courier fees that are the responsibility of the client. Your documents will be returned by Canada Post regular mail free of charge. If you would like them returned via courier please include a self-addressed pre-paid courier waybill/envelope and we will undertake to have them returned to you or a third party at no additional handling charge.

3. To legalize your document the embassy charges a fee, please confirm the fee and any other embassy requirements via our Quote Request.
4. Complete the Order Form using the information from the previous points and arrange for Shipping using one of the many companies that delivers to our office daily. Ensure that your document and our order form as well as any embassy requirements are enclosed.
5. Confirm with us that your document has been forwarded so that we can begin the process of keeping you up to date regarding the receipt, progress and completion of your document.
